Ethan is our Lead Blaster for the Eastern Pacific Northwest and has worked with us since 2017. When asked what he likes best about working at MRD Ethan said, “The environment and overall excitement of blasting. The room for growth is very appealing to me.” Ethan enjoys “the new challenges brought on by a fresh day that keeps me coming back each day with new energy.” He prides himself on keeping a healthy and productive work environment where any co-worker can feel comfortable coming to him with a problem so they can alleviate it together. “When someone is working under me my goal is for them to eventually surpass me in most aspects of blasting so that they feel more confident on their own when they eventually get their own blasting license,” he said. When he’s not blasting rock, Ethan enjoys spending time with his family, gaming with friends and creating small side projects with his 3D printer and learning 3D modeling.
